Page 1 of 2. Darkchild type strings. Many other producer's use it, but I hear Darkchild use them on a lot of his productions. They seem to be nice and rich sounding too. I'm guess people will respond with: Motif ES? Triton Studio. Arco strings and octave strings Motif strings just dont cut it. Mad Props!!!!!

This is off topic: Just wanted to shout out mad props to "Phillysoulman". Just got finished listening to "Three Ring Circus" by Bluemagic. That song moves me the way songs should.

Great work I digress I think Darkchild uses a string library, i think it was the Vienna Orchestral library Yeah, I think so too. OP is talking bout strings in songs such as Mary's Enough Cryin' etc, right? I used 1 cello, 2 violin and 1 viola sections. A little bass pizzicato under it to give it some power. I also own a Korg Triton and I really don't think the strings cut it compared to the VSL and that is an understatement.

When I read the original post the first thing that came to my mind was Keyshia Cole's 'Shoulda let you go' Has those exact staccato strings not the main strings but the ones that come in towards the end of the 8 bar loop Really sounds like the Motif's Stereo String 1 patch..
