Samba windows cannot locate server copy roaming profile

If I add the user to domain admins group on DC then the error goes away but I don't want them to have this high a level of domain access. The user is not failing to connect, I just get the profile warning but am able to continue working off a tamp profile. Am I right? Are there any updates?
