I have 2 UDW Dell monitors, one purchased from Amazon, the other one from someone on Facebook, without an invoice. I'm aware that the warranty might not be available for the second one, but in case something goes wrong even a firmware update fails , is there a way to get any help from Dell even if I have to pay for it?
Did you try disconnecting the monitor power cable from the rear of the monitor, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in and see if it will power on and display?
I just did the same thing, ran the M3B firmware update which failed, killed the brand new UDW monitor. I've been on the phone will Dell technical support for more than one hour, it took about 45 minutes just to explain this simple problem, extremely frustrating. They tell me the only option is to replace the monitor, no way to "master reset" or something. I'm Running Prusa Slic3r v. Thank you.
I Tryed all official procedure many times from Here and Here , except the factory reset. In the end, the printer firmware result installed even if the process failed. Can I trust this failed update process? Can I utilize the printer..? How can I solve the problem..? Enzo, that does not look right to me, I have not tried flashing my MK3, but strongly suspect the verification should not be getting checksum errors, means something is not right with the flash process.

That's really nice. I received an email that I need to do a firmware upgrade, that my router has a critical issue indicated by the power LED being continously lit amber. I tried to download the upgrade and keep getting md5 checksum error and I have no idea what that even is. Basically, it is indicatiing that this is an error in the firmware, that can be as result of the transfer.
